Hatching a Good Time at the Haberdashery
Spring has sprung at the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve, and that means it's time for our annual Eggstravaganza! This year, we're celebrating the traditions of Egg toss with a twist – a cryptid twist, that is.
Eggcellent Easter Egg Hunts
We'll have egg hunts galore throughout the day, each catering to different age groups. The little hatchlings can waddle through our Creeping Crawler Hayride to find eggs hidden amongst the ferns and flowers. Older adventurers can test their skills in the Mossy Monster Maze, where legendary creatures like the Jackalope and the Jersey Devil are rumored to roam (don't worry, they're all friendly here at the Haberdashery).
Legendary Eats and Treats
No celebration is complete without delicious food. Our concession stand will be overflowing with Easter treats, from candy eggs to deviled eggs and carrot cake. We'll also have some of our resident cryptids' favorite treats available, like freshly-squeezed swamp slug juice (it's actually kiwi!) and rock toadstool rice cakes (don't worry, they're not poisonous!).
Egg-ucational Activities
In between egg hunts, take a break to learn about the folklore and symbolism behind. Did you know that eggs have been associated with new life and springtime for centuries? They were even used as offerings in ancient civilizations! We'll also have a display on some of the world's most famous egg traditions, from the rolling hills of England to the egg-cracking competitions of Germany.
Haberdashery Cryptid Cameos
Keep your eyes peeled throughout the day – you never know which of our resident cryptids might make an appearance! In the past, we've had sightings of the Bunny (of course!), along with the Loch Ness Eggster (a distant relative of Nessie) and the Chickadee Chimera (a truly egg-cellent combination of bird and rabbit).
So come on down to the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve for an Eggstravaganza you won't forget! We'll have egg hunts, games, food, and fun for the whole family. Just be sure to watch out for those mischievous cryptids – they love hiding eggs (and sometimes people) in unexpected places!
