Raise a Glass (or Horn) to National Beverage Day at the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve!

Mark your calendars, monster mashers and creature connoisseurs, because May 6th is National Beverage Day! Here at the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve, we believe every creature deserves a delightful drink, even our more unusual residents.

A Toast to Mythical Brews

Legends and lore are filled with fantastical beverages. The Valkyries in Norse mythology supposedly quaffed mead from golden horns in Valhalla. In Scottish folklore, the kelpie – a shape-shifting water spirit – is said to lure unsuspecting travelers into rivers with promises of a refreshing drink, only to drag them to a watery demise.

Here at the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve, we take a more benevolent approach. Our resident Jackalope enjoys a refreshing glass of hibiscus tea, perfect for a summer day. Our friendly flock of Mothmen swear by a concoction of moonflower petal tea for a touch of nighttime serenity (and perhaps to enhance their nocturnal vision).

Celebrate with Us!

To commemorate National Beverage Day, the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve is hosting a special Creature Cocktail Contest! Dust off your cauldrons, bust out your blenders, and create an elixir fit for a mythical being.

Here are some ideas to get your creative cauldrons bubbling:

• The Loch Ness Fizz: A bright blue concoction with a surprising citrus kick (because Nessie deserves something more exciting than murky lake water, right?)

• The Yeti's Yeti-Nog: A creamy, spiced beverage perfect for warming up after a long trek through the Himalayas.

• The Unicorn Dreamsicle: A layered purple and white beverage with a touch of sparkle, as magical as a unicorn's horn.

The winning concoction, as chosen by our resident cryptids (with maybe a little human influence), will be featured on our menu and the creator will receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the preserve (including a peek at our top-secret glowing mushroom garden, rumored to be the source of some truly mystical concoctions).

So raise a glass, a horn, or even a mossy twig – because at the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve, we celebrate all creatures, and all their favorite beverages, on National Beverage Day!
