This legendary creature is said to take the form of a beautiful woman, but with one startling difference – her long, flowing hair is actually made from countless, shimmering snakes! Despite their frightening appearance, Gwyllion are said to be protective spirits, especially of children and grandchildren. Perhaps a grandmotherly monster we can all appreciate!
