Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve Celebrates Coconut Day!

Get ready to crack open a coconut and celebrate Coconut Day here at the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve! This tropical treat is more than just a delicious snack; it's a versatile fruit with a rich history and cultural significance.

Coconuts and Cryptids

Coconuts have long been associated with mystery and folklore. In some cultures, they're seen as symbols of fertility and prosperity. In others, they're believed to possess magical properties.

Here at the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve, we're particularly interested in the legends surrounding the hairy coconuts of Fiji. These fibrous coconuts are said to resemble giant, hairy eyeballs. According to legend, they grow on special palms guarded by spirits.  The Fijians believed that tampering with these hairy coconuts would bring misfortune.
