Zebra Day

Ring in the Cryptid New Year at the Haberdashery!

As the veil between years thins, and the old year shuffles out to make way for the new, the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve invites you to celebrate a New Year's Eve unlike any other! Witness the peculiarily festive (and possibly mischievous) behavior of our resident cryptids as they celebrate the turn of the cycle in their own unique ways.

A New Year's Toast with a Twist

Join us for a toast at midnight, not with champagne, but with a special concoction brewed by our very own resident alchemist, Miss Pennyfeather. This year's iteration, the "Jackalope Jubilee," is rumored to shimmer with an otherworldly luminescence and grant the imbiber a glimpse into the coming year (though some claim it might just induce vivid dreams of long-eared rabbits).

Festive Frights and Cryptid Capers

Throughout the evening, witness our cryptids partake in their own peculiar New Year's traditions. Watch as the Jersey Devil attempts (and likely fails) at a festive light display, or see if our resident gnomes manage to construct a miniature log cabin replica before the clock strikes twelve.

Legend has it...

...that at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest. Could this be the year you catch a glimpse of a shadowy figure flitting between the trees? Perhaps it's just the Jackalope Jubilee at work, but there's only one way to find out!

Festivities for the Whole Family

While the cryptids celebrate in their own way, we'll have plenty of human-friendly merriment as well. Enjoy live music, games, face-painting, and a bonfire to keep you warm as the new year arrives.

A New Year's Resolution to Remember

As you ring in the new year, why not make a resolution to connect with the strange and wonderful world of cryptids? The Haberdashery offers a variety of educational programs and tours throughout the year, allowing you to learn more about these fascinating creatures and the folklore surrounding them.

Join us at the Haberdashery Cryptid Preserve and make this New Year's Eve one for the history books (or perhaps the monster manuals)!
